Works Great. Love it. Keeps me from having to switch computers at a little tiny button on the bottom of the monitor, plus it also switches my mouse and keyboard. This has eliminated the use of two keyboards and two mice. I also use a port to switch my headset at the same time that it switches my keyboard and mouse. I think next I will use it to switch external storage that can be used by both computers. My only complaint is that it takes several seconds to switch. I wish it was more instantaneous.

Wonderfully simple and does exactly as it should. I'm sharing my USB devices and monitors between two laptops by simply pushing a small easily-accessible button.

Works exactly as advertised. Have a laptop and desktop attached to one monitor and this makes it easy to switch between the two.

It works

I've had and been using this KVM switch for several months now so it's time for a review. Basically, it does what it is supposed to do, but I have 4 small gripes that I'll share anyway. First is that some of the pictures & videos here on Amazon led me to believe that this would come with 2 HDMI cables and 2 USB cables. It doesn't. In the box there were 2 USB cables and exactly *zero* HDMI cables. So be aware of that. My second small gripe is that I REALLY wish this thing supported keyboard hotkey switching, like the older IO**** (USB/DVI) KVM that it replaced did. Third, the cable for the push-button switch is WAY too short. (I had to use an extension cable.) Fortunately, an ordinary 3.5mm audio extension cable works for that (and fortunately I already had one lying around). Lastly, as I learned, when you switch away from one computer, some operating systems (I'm looking at you U*****!) can forget what resolution the screen was at, so that which you switch back to that machine/OS the screen resolution will be annoyingly downgraded to some crummy lower resolution. As I learned, there exist little things called "HDMI EDID emulators" that you can buy that will fix this problem by, in effect, simulating the monitor being constantly attached (and I did buy 2 of them). The good news is that that those little things do eliminate the problem. The bad news is (a) they cost extra and (b) as I learned, the BIOS on some types of machines (I'm looking at you D***!) doesn't play well with these EDID emulators (and won't display boot-up time POST screens/messages when you have one of these EDID emulators in the HDMI line). So anyway, I understand why the manufacturer of these KVM switch did NOT just integrate EDID emulation into the KVM itself (because they CAN cause problems, as I just noted) but it would be GREAT if these KVM switches integrated EDID emulators (for each/both video/HDMI inputs) but if they also included a switch so that the EDID emulation could be turned on or off as needed. (But of course, they would have to raise the price if they did that.) All things considered I give this KVM 4 stars because, as I've said, it does do what it is supposed to do. But I would have been willing to pay a little more for something that (a) came with HDMI cables and that (b) more importantly, something that supported hotkey (keyboard) switching, which I really miss.

Incredibly easy to set up (even for this 70+ technodummy). Works flawlessly at the touch of a button.

Switch worked as expected, but struggles with older monitor. Specifically, when using an HDMI to DVI cable, the monitor went into power saving mode every time I hit the button to switch, and I couldn't wake it up with the mouse/keyboard. That problem went away when I switched to a VGA cable with a HDMI adapter. Keep that in mind if you plan on using this with a monitor that doesn't have an HDMI input.

Easy to set up and use.

I use this KVM switch to connect my Windows PC and my old Mac Pro that I use as a file server to a shared keyboard and mouse. Works perfectly right out of the box.

Using two computers to a single monitor has never been this easy. Is very practical and very easy to setup. Click and I’m on my mini pc another click and m in back to my laptop.

This was easy to set up and a breeze to operate.

If you work a lot with their home devices, it’s really worth it, and I’d recommend getting one of these.

needed a new adapter for my macbook, and it's been very easy to use and quick connectivity thus far! it's perfect for my use where I need two usb cables and hdmi. I haven't had the need to use it for switching between two computers but that might be helpful as I'm sharing a workstation with someone else

This is a two computer/one screen unit. I run two laptops, home and work, and this is the best KVM switch I've ever had, way better than the more expensive TEsmart unit that this replaced. Works seamlessly for both units, including USB ports for my mouse, keyboard, and camera. Also, I like that it needs no electric plug, as it works off computer power via USB. Very compact and easy to hook up.

Easy to set up and use. Works well and a good deal for the money!
